A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Before you press record.
What is BZDR Studio?
BZDR Studio is an independent, standalone digital audio workstation in development for recording, mixing, and mastering. Its direction combines a familiar studio workflow with global tuning, immersive mixing, and a BZDR-designed processor family.
What does global tuning mean?
The tuning design supports A4 = 440 Hz, A4 = 432 Hz, C5 = 528 Hz, or a custom reference note and frequency. Session-wide settings, per-track overrides, a reference generator, and optional non-destructive retuning are part of the roadmap. The reference settings preview is separate from audio processing: recorded audio and third-party instruments are not automatically retuned.
Is immersive mixing available in the browser beta?
The current browser beta plays back in stereo. Multichannel workflows and 3D positioning are part of the native immersive development direction. A Dolby Atmos renderer, binaural renderer, and ADM BWF export are not included in the current beta.
Are these the actual BZDR interface images?
The main gallery uses the original BZDR Studio artwork. The feature section also includes explicitly labeled desktop concepts for the proposed tuning settings and immersive panner, presented over the original desktop workspace. Beta builds may differ as implementation develops. Third-party plugin names visible in the artwork are illustrative and do not imply bundled licenses or validated compatibility.
Which platforms are you building for?
Desktop and mobile are part of the BZDR direction. The mobile browser beta and native macOS/Windows integration have different capabilities. Platform requirements and feature availability will be confirmed with beta invitations.
When can I get access, and does joining cost anything?
Joining the early-access list is free and requires no payment information. We haven’t announced an invitation date, and joining does not guarantee beta access. Beta terms and final product pricing will be shared separately.
